[1] [2] Ateeq Hussain Khan Bandanawazi is a famous Qawwal gharana in India. He is also the grandson of Qawwal Ustad Qurban Hussain Khan.

Family history

Ustad Qurban Hussain Khan was Gwalior Raj durbari Gayak, an icon of Sufiana Qawwali. Ateeq's father Iqbal Hussain Kahan Bandanawazi was a famous Qawwal who got a Padmashree nomination and was awarded the Sangeet Prabhakar Award from Chief Minister Raj Shekar Reddy. Ateeq's maternal grandfather, Aziz Ahmed Khan Warsi was a Padma shree Award winner and a famous Qawwali master.
