If anyone does have access to the $20 version, I would deeply appreciate reading some general feedback over the next few days. No need for any specific spoilers, but it won't be out on itch.io until the weekend, and I'm... pretty on the fence after reading the changelog, where half of the main story scenes are devoted to some mystery character. Just general impressions, I suppose, of whether this feels like there is some momentum or if it's another huge sidetrack like the undercover questline.
Because right now, I'm hopelessly torn between taking a chance on it, or waiting to buy the next update instead and just playing both of them back-to-back sometime in December.

Same. But I made up my decision, and make myself a little Christmas/New Years present and buy 20$ update, cuz i missed a lot of extra scenes (the las t one was from 4 or 5 update when it was leaked).
The plot thiccens. Lots of story stuff this update, and the corruption (especially for Rose) continues apace. I think spoiler tags are too tempting so I won't use them just yet, and unless there's something I missed I had to go into the reminiscence room to see the goings-on while Leto was away. The free-roams / scenes are beginning to pile up, the town is becoming a sordid place at last.

I don't get an awful lot of feedback on the extra scenes, but I so happened to get this one on the latest 20$ update on Patreon. The reason why I don't do main characters on the extra scenes is so that people won't feel like they're missing out too much if they decide not to subscribe to the higher tiers. I might involve Cyanna or Rose later down the line, but if I do, I'll make sure it's maybe some extra fetish or a specific situation that has no impact on the story or the corruption as a whole.
Yup, I sent them the update. Subscribestar has suddenly become a pain in the ass because I've got to fill some sort of US form for tax purposes and as long as I don't, their unremovable warning takes half of the screen which means I can't see my messages or anything^^

The save files that N_Taii provided for the Update are most likely in Partial-PoV and that is why you didn't see the scenes as they happened, when i reached the campsite with Jazon i realised that something was weird because based on the dual conversation between Cyanna&Ulrod and The Duke&Rose, there should've been a scene or something, plus then i remembered this PoL where Leto and Jazon was walking and for me it did not show the girls on the side.
I want a redemption arc for Jazon. In the good ending I need him being a total bro and saving Leto's life.

We don't know his backstory enough to see him as a victim. I believe he has a one-sided love for the queen so he must be holding some resentment for the king.
Took the dive for you, and personally I'm going to have to tell you that it wasn't worth it for me. I was hoping that the mystery character would be at least tangential to the main characters, but they were really more flashbacks for the story than development of the other characters. I usually always pay for any of the Rose and Cyanna updates, but I'd say the scenes were short for the wait (quality is still good and you can tell the animation and art is being worked on though). Actually, the Cyanna scene was so short I didn't even expect it to cut off without another scene. Their story also didn't move much compared to some backdrop involving the "mystery character" though.
If you saw the undercover questline as a huge sidetrack, then I think you'd find this update to be worse in terms of momentum, development (of Rose/Cyanna, not the story).
Finally got around to starting the update... and I'm still not a fan of the split character scenes.

Wasn't he venting about the King while banging one the maids. He for sure hates the King, probably just loves the Queen more than he hates the King.
